The Leaping Bunny is the globally recognisable gold standard for cruelty free cosmetics and household products, and demonstrates that a brand is genuinely committed to removing animal testing from its supply chain.
We have been Made in England since 1971 and commit to this for the future; sustainably creating original sensorial experiences of the highest quality to empower your individuality. The majority of our products are formulated and manufactured in our own facility in Elsenham. We are proud to control all of our own sourcing, carbon emissions and waste, allowing us to put into place ambitious actions to preserve the environment. Moreover, since 2016, 100% of the electricity in our facility comes from renewable sources.

Our sustainable journey has been ongoing right from the beginning. We’re progressing our roots in positive luxury with sustainable practices, including our Fragrance Refill Service. Your 100ml Eaux de Parfum and Toilette can be refilled time and time again beyond their ‘last’ spritz; simply bring your glass bottle in to a participating store to refill your fragrance (Eau de Parfum 100ml £75; Eau de Toilette 100ml £55). Plus, you can now purchase our reusable glass bottle and Refill Pouches for some of your favourite Fine Liquid Hand Washes, to refill at home.
All of our Bath and Body, and Hand collection, are now produced in our signature Boston Round bottles with 50% recycled PET. Our ‘Return. Recycle. Reward.’ scheme has launched across our UK stores to create a circular economy and maximise our own plastic recycling. Additionally, we are working with our hotel partners to reduce single-use plastic, replacing them with dispensers.
We were one of the first in the UK to never test on animals – a ground-breaking concept in the 1970s – plus, we’re proudly 100% vegetarian. We are currently reformulating a very small number of our products (Milk Musk Eau de Toilette, Bath & Shower Gel and Body Lotion, Oudh Accord & Gold Scented Candles, Vitamin Lipsaver and a select few of our hotel-exclusive amenities) and our entire collection will be 100% vegan* by 2022.
